The latest version of the beloved EA SPORTS PGA TOUR video game is set to launch in March, and the company came to the PGA Show for the first time this year to help spread the word about the next-generation game.
Launching on March 24, EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will be the exclusive video game home of all four men’s major championships: The Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and Open Championship. The PGA of America also provided instruction expertise to help make the game’s mechanics and learning elements ultra-realistic.
“We worked with the PGA extensively on instruction content and PGA Championship courses, so it made sense to come to the PGA Show as we launch this new title,” says Ray Almeda, Senior Communications Specialist for EA. “Being here allows us to get in front of the top golf media outlets and give them an early hands-on look at the game that can only be appreciated in person.”
