Exhibitor Anniversary: Association of Golf Merchandisers Marks 35 Years

The Association of Golf Merchandisers (booth 3354), a not-for-profit  international association of 850 members open to golf professionals, buyers, merchandisers, club managers/owners and industry suppliers known as the “Educational Voice in Golf Merchandising,” is commemorating its 30th year at the PGA Merchandise Show.

“We are honoring our legacy and unveiling plans for our future,” says Desane Blaney, Executive Director of the AGM, which presented a full day of educational seminars at the AGM Retail Conference, the Platinum Awards honoring excellence in golf shop merchandising, and the AGM Product Preview and Reception on Tuesday of PGA Show Week.

“As the ‘Educational Voice in Golf Merchandising,’ our goal is to assist our members with their professional development and provide relevant and timely retail-related education programs and ideas which, with implementation, will translate to increased profitability at their facilities,” says Blaney. “The retail landscape continues to change, and it is critically important for merchandisers to keep current with what’s happening, particularly in mainstream retail.”
