Exhibitor Anniversary: Yamaha Golf-Car Company Unveils New Cars, Marks 40 Years at PGA Merchandise Show

Michael Saffioti, PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, presents Yamaha Golf-Car Company President Tom McDonald with a gift commemorating their anniversary.

The Yamaha Golf-Car Company (booth 2243), the first company to develop Electronic Fuel Injection technology in a golf car (producing the best gas mileage and smallest carbon footprint); the first golf car with fully independent, four-wheel suspension (producing the smoothest ride in the game); and the first gas-powered car that is almost as quiet as an electric car, is commemorating its 40th year as an exhibitor at the PGA Merchandise Show this week.

“The PGA Merchandise Show has always provided a space where meaningful connections and long-lasting ventures can be made,” says Yamaha Golf-Car Company President Tom McDonald, whose test drives of new Yamaha cars at the PGA Demo Day were a popular attraction. “We’ve been an industry leader for over 40 years now, and the PGA Show has been there almost every step of the way. There’s a reason why we’ve unveiled each of our new cars and technologies at the PGA Show — it is a staple that has always propelled our success.”

Providing cars for on and off the course, Kennesaw, Georgia-based Yamaha is unveiling at the PGA Show its brand new YamaTrack YTX fleet management system with a 10-inch Gorilla glass touch screen and the most advanced 3-D graphics in the game; its new Drive 2 EFI Fleet car that gets  45 MPG; and for off the course, it is debuting its UMAX Rally 2+2 that easily fits your job and your life, plus the rest of the UMAX light utility vehicle family (e.g. UMAX Rally, etc.).
