Experts in Nutrition, Coaching Modern Athletes and Juniors Headline Presentations on Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage Thursday

         Experts in nutrition, golf performance, physical fitness and movement, coaching modern athletes, and teaching and coaching juniors will share their knowledge and best practices during a full schedule of presentations Thursday at the PGA Show Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage, located adjacent to the TPI and Life Fitness booths at the back of aisles 1200-2700 on the PGA Show floor.

         Ali Gilbert tees off Thursday’s ambitious schedule with “Conquering Metabolism and Nutrition Can Help You Optimize Your Performance on the Course and in Life” at 9:15 a.m. on the Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage. Dr. Bhrett McCabe, a sports psychologist who works with amateur and professional athletes, including many golfers, will present “Coaching the 21st Century Athlete – The Myths, Mysteries and Mandates” at 1 p.m., followed by athletic-training guru Kevin Duffy with “What Type of Golf Athlete Are You?” at 2 p.m.

         Milo Bryan will appeal to youth coaches with his presentation titled “10 Activities Every Junior Golf Coach Should be doing at 4 p.m., followed at 5 p.m. by the Top 50 Coaches Awards Ceremony sponsored by Operation 36 at 5 p.m. PGA Members are reminded to have their PGA Merchandise Show badges scanned at each presentation they attend to receive one MSR credit.
