Five Things to Know: Tuesday

• It’s here! PGA Show Demo Day begins at 9 a.m. this morning at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida. Admission is restricted to PGA and LPGA Professionals, plus media, from 9 a.m.-noon.  All other PGA Merchandise Show badge holders are allowed entry from noon-5 p.m.

• Over 100 of golf’s leading brands will be on-site, allowing for exclusive demos of new products, plus appearances by golfers such as Greg Norman, Lexi Thompson at Cobra Puma Golf; Tania Tare at Ping; Brad Faxon at Titleist; and Peter Jacobsen and Jamie Sadlowski and Hockey Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr at Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO and others throughout the day. • The PGA Show Education Conference also gets underway this morning. At the Orange County Convention Center’s Room W230A, a “Specialized Teaching & Coaching Jumpstart Program” kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Meanwhile, on Tee 3 of Orange County National, the first of four Demo Day workshops begins with “What Are the Concepts, Skills & Steps to Teach And/Or Learn the Swing” at 10 a.m. Don’t forget: PGA Members can purchase a BOGO full Education Conference pass for another industry professional at their facility, while PGA Associates get 50 percent off all sessions. • The Association of Golf Merchandisers will host their annual Retail Conference and Product Preview today in Hall F (a new location) of the Orange County Convention Center. • Head to the Orange County Convention Center early tomorrow to enjoy a live band and an exciting PGA Show Opening Ceremony beginning at 8:15 a.m. The PGA Show Floor doors open at 8:30 a.m. Don’t forget to download the PGA Show Mobile App before heading in. It features easy show floor navigation, an updated events schedule, plus the new scan and save feature, which allows you to scan exhibitor QR codes for more information, as well as attendee badges to save contacts and create a “favorites” lists of exhibitors and colleagues for quick access.
