The nearly 10 miles of Show aisles filled with exhibits on the PGA Show floor provide a nearly endless array of products – from many different areas of golf. Savvy attendees know they can head for the PGA Show New Product Zone sponsored by Chippo Golf, located at the end of the apparel section (back of aisle 7000), to get a quick look at dozens of new products in a unique setting.
The New Product Zone allows attendees to browse products on their own, with no sales representatives present. A new Demonstration Stage allows for product presentations, and will be the site of the New Product Zone awards on Thursday at 3 p.m. A panel of award-winning PGA Professionals and top golf industry experts will vote on the winners.
Beyond honoring the best ideas of this year’s product class, the New Product Zone is also a shopping resource for PGA Professionals.
“I’m here looking primarily for player development tools and teaching and coaching aids, and the New Product Zone is a great place to see the latest trends,” said Jon Husby, a PGA Professional with the PGA Golf Management University Program at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs. “This is my fourth year coming to the PGA Show, and I always stop at the New Product Zone on the first day to get a read on what’s new. There’s no pressure from sales reps, and you can stop and charge your phone at the lounge.
“I’ve ordered products I’ve seen in the New Product Zone before, and I’m impressed with some of the teaching and training aids here again this year.”
