With golf travel becoming an important revenue stream at clubs across the country, a new Golf Travel Forum presented by PGA Magazine will take place on the PGA Forum Stage presented by OMEGA on Thursday at 9 a.m. A panel of PGA Professionals, including Casey Brozek, PGA Director Golf at Quail West Golf and Country Club in Naples, Fla.; David Dorn, PGA Director of Golf at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.; Cathy Matthews-Kane, PGA General Manager at Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs; and Rich Tock, PGA, ambassador to PGA Professionals at Erin Hills in Erin, Wisc., will share advice and best practices on how to create memorable golf-trip experiences.
“Golf trips have become important business for facilities, and have become unique opportunities for PGA Professionals to bond with their members and clients on and off the golf course,” says Dorn. “A golf trip can also be an educational experience, where members can play courses they wouldn’t normally get to play and PGA Professionals can add a little golf instruction on the practice tee or on the golf course.”
PGA Professionals and industry attendees will have a chance to win a golf trip to Morocco, courtesy of the Moroccan National Tourist office (booth 3985), during the Golf Travel Forum presentation on Thursday.
