Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with over 12 million players in 78 countries and 35 International Federations.
And with more golf facilities incorporating racquet and paddle sports into their overall programming, facility managers and industry professionals are able to source multiple sports companies with the inclusion of the 2019 Racquet and Paddle Sports Conference, co-located with the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center, Jan. 23-25.
Organized by the Tennis Industry Association (TIA) and Reed Exhibitions, the multi-faceted Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference is a three-day, future-focused B2B event bringing together racquet sport professionals, industry leaders, established suppliers and emerging brands.
On Wednesday, Jan. 23, an Innovation & Technology Demo Day and welcome party will take place at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus in Lake Nona, giving industry professionals an opportunity to see and test the latest equipment, including racquets, paddle and ball machines, at a world-class facility. The Demo Day starts at 3:30 p.m. and is free to trade professionals.
Attendees will also have a chance to try the newest equipment from leading manufacturers on the innovative NEXT-Court surface, a modified short court that can host tennis, pickleball, POP tennis and platform tennis. The NEXT-Court will be located at the Orange County Convention Center, and feature live demonstrations, programming, open play time and meet & greets from professional players in all four racquet sports.
Additionally, the inaugural Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference will also have a curated ONE2ONE buying summit, Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference and a pavilion of racquet, paddle and tennis vendors and organizations for attendees to visit.
“Padel can easily be described as a social, fun, competitive and addictive sport that is easy to learn and hard to master,” says All Racquet Sports President Lee Sponaugle. “This week, we are showcasing the best of the sport on the padel court at the 2019 Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference held with the PGA Merchandise Show.”
