Preparations for Women’s Golf Day, the fastest-growing female golf development initiative with more than 1,000 locations in 66 countries participating, begin this week at the PGA Merchandise Show with a special presentation titled “Women’s Golf Day Interactive Experience & Why It Works” on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. in Room W312 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The presentation, which will consist of Women’s Golf Day testimonials by PGA Professionals, will lay the groundwork for the fifth annual Women’s Golf Day worldwide on June 2. Women’s Golf Day is a unique, one-day sporting and community celebration event that unites women through golf across the globe for 24 hours transcending race, religion, language and geography. Programs on June 2 traditionally include women choosing two hours of lessons or playing nine holes at participating Women’s Golf Day facilities. Groups then join together for socializing, mingling and food and beverages.
PGA Members earn one MSR credit for attending the Thursday presentation and two MSR credits for hosting a Women’s Golf Day event on June 2.
