- THE PGA SHOW IS A GO! – The 73rd PGA Show starts today! Golf’s global gathering starts at 8:15 a.m. when “America’s Caddie” Michael Collins is joined by PGA of America President Don Rea, North Florida PGA Executive Director Andrew Yeast, World Series champion Johnny Damon and former NBA star Bo Outlaw for an opening ceremony in the Orange County Convention Center central lobby. Music will be provided by the Paradigm Band, with the tunes starting at 7:45 a.m., and a live performance artist will be there to capture the moment. - SEVEN STAGES OF ACTIVITY – The PGA Show boasts hundreds of exhibits from golf’s biggest brands, but don’t forget that there are seven different stages located throughout the PGA Show Floor that are humming with information-packed expert presentations all week. Those include the PGA Industry Stage presented by CapTech; the Fitness, Health & Wellness Stage presented by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and the Golf Fitness Association of America (GFAA) and FIBO; The Clubhouse Stage sponsored by Jonas Club Software within the Club Amenities Pavilion; the Racquet Sports Stage focusing on pickleball, tennis and multisport programming; the Retreat Stage within The Retreat destination, a sophisticated space with premium brands and host site of the PGA Show Fashion Show and PGA Winter Jam; the Inventors Spotlight in partnership with United Inventors Association; and the Range Performance Center, a new space for presentations on coaching, player development and range operations. - A PASSION FOR FASHION – It’s always a fash bash on Wednesday of PGA Show Week when models take to the runway for the Fashion Show & Reception inside The Retreat in Hall E. Starting at 5:30 p.m., attendees can gather for an opening day industry reception sponsored by johnnie-O, and the Fashion Show starts at 6 p.m. with high energy and hot trends on full display. Stop by to see the season’s hottest looks and vote for the People’s Choice Awards in the categories of Favorite Men’s Brand, Favorite Women’s Brand and Best Dressed outfit.
- CELEBRITY PICKLEBALL PRO-AM – Racquet Sports at the PGA Show returns this year with a new Celebrity Pickleball Pro-Am presented by Matt “Pickleball McNasty” Manasse from 5-7 p.m. today. The on-court action will be accompanied by an attendee networking and happy hour presented by RADL Wire, and celebrity appearances are scheduled to include NFL legends Calvin Johnson and Eric Decker, professional tennis players Jesse Levine and Caroline Dolehide and more. - AND THE WINNERS ARE … – Stop by the PGA Industry Stage presented by CapTech at 4:30 p.m. today for a special presentation announcing the 2026 PGA of America national award winners. PGA of America President Don Rea Jr. and moderator Taylor Zarzour of SiriusXM Radio and ESPN will unveil the honorees, including the PGA of America Golf Professional of the Year; the PGA of America Teacher & Coach of the Year; the PGA of America Golf Executive of the Year; the Bill Strausbaugh Award recipient; the PGA of America Professional Development Award honoree; the PGA of America Professional Development Award recipient, the PGA of America Youth Player Development Award honoree; the Patriot Award winner; and the Deacon Palmer Award recipient. A PGA of America Section will also be recognized as the Herb Graffis Award recipient for its commitment to growing the game. Three national 2026 PGA of America Merchandisers of the Year will also be introduced, one each representing private, resort and public facilities. A PGA National Awards happy hour open to all PGA of America Members will follow the national awards presentation in the area surrounding the PGA Industry stage.
