Crowded throughout the day on Wednesday, the PGA Show Career Zone (booth 3689) is expanding on the heels of a successful launch in 2023 to offer more connections between employers and job seekers right on the Show floor at the Orange County Convention Center. In addition to staff recruitment by various golf industry organizations, the Career Zone also features employment-focused presentations and professional networking events. Golf industry employers can learn more about recruitment and onsite job interview opportunities at PGAShow2024.com/career-zone.

“Being in the PGA Career Zone is a way to tell our story and let attendees know about our opportunities at our headquarters and retail stores,” said Rick Heltne, recruitment specialist for 2nd Swing. “We have 350 employees and around 30 open positions we’re trying to fill, so it’s a great time for us to be here and try to hire in advance of the coming golf season.”

Featuring a different group of employers daily, the Career Zone provides leading golf companies with an opportunity to share information about their businesses while recruiting for open positions with job seekers at all career levels. Participating companies currently include Club Car, GOLFTEC, NGSA (National Golf Sales Association), NBC Universal, PGA of America, Troon, the USGA and 2nd Swing.

The Career Zone, co-located with the PGA of America Golf Management University Pavilion at Show floor location 3689, includes new private interview meeting rooms, a job board and a stage for programming focused on career growth strategies, talent acquisition best practices and open employment opportunities in golf. Thursday afternoon features informal employer-professional networking receptions.
