Callaway Golf unveils new drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and golf balls at 2025 PGA Show

Callaway Golf is featuring its new line of Elyte drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons at the 2025 PGA Show, and is introducing the new Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf ball.

Noting that the “future of performance is Elyte,” the new shape of the Elyte driver provides enhanced aerodynamics to maximize swing speed with improved forgiveness and launch conditions. The new Thermoforged Carbon crown optimizes launch and spin, but the secret to a reported 8 yards more distance than Callaway’s popular Ai Smoke driver may lie in the face. The new Ai10x face delivers 10 times more control points than the Ai Smart Face to produce exceptionally fast ball speeds, tight dispersion (accuracy) and optimized launch across the face.

The Callaway Elyte driver is joined by the Elyte X for maximum forgiveness and higher launch; the Elyte Triple Diamond for players who desire a smaller footprint. Lower spin and launch; and the Elyte Max Fast for golfers with moderate swing speeds, high launch and forgiveness.

Zack Oakley, Senior Product Manager for Callaway Golf, compares the Elyte line of Callaway products to the career of Callaway PGA TOUR staff professional Xander Schauffele, who was always a highly respected player but became an elite player by winning the PGA Championship at Valhalla and the Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2024.

“Xander was considered one of the best players in the world, but he hadn’t  broken through to be a major champion until last year,” said Oakley. “To get to the next level, he had to go back and look at every single aspect of his process, his swing coach, his agency, his sponsors, his physio, and really evaluate every little detail to really break through. That’s very similar to our approach this year, going from great products in Ai Smoke and Paradym, to producing a product that has no weaknesses. We have gone from very good to Elyte.”

Schauffele, by the way, gave the new Callaway Elyte driver an “A+” grade after his initial testing. “Love the sound, love the feel, love the length, love the accuracy and love the look at address,” assessed Schauffele. “It’s quite amazing how Callaway comes out with something better almost every year.”

The new Callaway Elyte irons utilize a new Speed Frame construction to produce fast ball speeds and a higher balance of distance, forgiveness and overall performance. The tri-sole design features three distinct sections to ensure fast, smooth turf interaction. A sharper leading edge and trailing edge chamfer allow for efficient entry and exit, while the mid-section offers enhanced forgiveness for consistent results from a variety of lies. Elyte Irons are available in 4 models: Standard, X, HL (high launch) and Max Fast.

On the golf ball front, Callaway’s new Chrome Tour Triple Diamond is designed for better players who prefer a consistently penetrating flight, slightly firmer feel and lower spin on full shots. A new high-performance Tour Urethane soft cover provides higher launch, lower spin and Tour-level greenside control, according to Callaway Golf.
