Career Zone on PGA Show floor unites job seekers with leading companies

Leading golf companies and industry organizations such as the PGA of America are sharing information about their businesses and recruiting job seekers for open positions at all career levels in the Career Zone on the PGA Show Floor Wednesday through Friday at the Orange County Convention Center.

The Career Zone, co-located with the PGA Golf Management University (PGM) Pavilion at Show floor location No. 3687 is also featuring employment-focused presentations and professional networking events.

Participating companies include GOLFTEC, 2nd Swing, ForeHire, Smooth Butter Golf Clothing, PGA of America Career Services and PGA WORKS, the PGA of America REACH Foundation’s strategic initiative designed to diversify the golf industry’s workforce.

The Career Zone includes a private interview meeting room, networking events and a stage for golf career programming, wherein employers are presenting an overview of their companies or organizations while speaking specifically about job opportunities. Additionally, PGM Students will participate in a Passport Networking program with employers and a complimentary professional headshot studio will be available to all PGA Show attendees each day, along with resume writing and other tools to help job seekers prepare their credentials for prospective employers.

A special “PGA WORKS Fellows Presents: A Dynamic Networking Hour with PGA Fellows and PGM Students” takes place Wednesday from 3-4 p.m. at the Career Zone, while a Career Zone networking event to connect exhibitors and sales representatives is scheduled Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.
