Travel Pavilion at PGA Show is first stop for planning national, international golf trips

Planning a golf trip to Ireland, Scotland, Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, South Africa, Portugal, South America, Japan or a favorite resort destination in North America?

For many PGA of America Professionals and club travel coordinators, planning golf excursions begins at the PGA Show Travel Pavilion on the 2025 PGA Show floor.

Representatives from national and international golf destinations, resorts, tour services and travel products are assisting PGA of America Professionals and travel planners in booking golf trips for groups of all sizes to worldwide destinations and leading resorts in North America at the Travel Pavilion.

PGA of America Professionals can also connect in person with golf tour operators from companies such as Haversham & Baker, Premier Golf, Pro Golf African Safaris, Cruise Planners and Regent Cruises, Fairways to Heaven Golf Travel, and All Access Golf Travel, as well as access hundreds of golf travel-related products across multiple categories on the Show Floor.

“We always make our initial plans and explore a variety of different destinations by walking the Travel Pavilion and visiting with the professional tour operators,” said Joanna Coe, PGA Director of Instruction at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. “We are creating great experiences for our members by visiting other countries and playing famous and not-so-famous courses and visiting nice resorts. We usually take a group to another country once a year and travel to a couple of resorts or famous courses in the United States. If you’re organizing a golf trip, you can save a lot of time and money by visiting the Travel Pavilion at the Show and working with those travel experts.”

Among exhibitors in the Travel Pavilion at the 2025 PGA Show are Tourism Ireland, VisitScotland, Consejería de Turismo de España (Spain), the Dominican Republic Tourism Board, Federacion Mexicana de Golf (Mexico), European Golf Experiences and many other golf-travel companies.

Tourism Ireland will have several stands at the PGA Show staffed by various golf resorts and hotels associated with golf travel, and is expected to host many golf travelers from the United States before rolling out the green carpet for the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush and the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.

“Ireland is truly a golfer’s paradise with 400 golf clubs, including a third of the world’s best natural links courses and exceptional championship courses surrounded by epic landscapes,” stated Clodagh O’Dwyer of Tourism Ireland. “Every year, some 240,000 golfers from all over the world come to Ireland to experience the impressive greenery and the fairways and greens. Ireland has generated a reputation for its natural links courses, and as we like to say, everything is greener in Ireland (the Emerald Isle).”

Several golf travel companies, resorts and hotels will also be under the  VisitScotland banner at the PGA Show, including Bonnie Wee Golf, Executive Golf & Leisure, Fairmont St. Andrews, Glenmuir, Highland Golf Links, Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, Links Golf St. Andrews, Luxe Scot, Marine & Lawn, MTC Golf & MacKenzie Smith Art, North Berwick Golf Club, Panmure Golf Club, PerryGolf, Scottish Golf Tourism Week, Sunderland of Scotland, University of St. Andrews and Woodside Luxury Lodges.

VisitScotland professionals can provide information on how to secure tee times at traditional Open Championship venues such as the Old Course at St. Andrews, Turnberry, Royal Troon, Carnoustie and Muirfield, as well as renowned courses such as North Berwick, Cruden Bay, Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Kingsbarn, Gleneagles, Royal Aberdeen and many others.

“Scotland is recognized as the home of golf, many agree it is the birthplace of golf, and we are blessed with courses that challenge the greatest players in the world each year at the Open Championship but are highly enjoyable for regular golfers also,” said Vicki Miller, CEO of VisitScotland, who has been in the tourism industry for 20 years. “VisitScotland is not only the authority on golf in Scotland, but can provide reservations and itineraries for the finest hotels, resorts, pubs, castles, sightseeing opportunities and other experiences that will make your trip to Scotland forever memorable.”

The Travel Pavilion on the PGA Show floor is open during regular PGA Show hours Wednesday through Friday.
