Brian Harman, whose dominant six-shot victory in the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool was the largest winning margin in all major championships last year, will join host Jim Nantz of CBS Sports at the Acushnet Company Opening Presentation to help tee off the 2024 PGA Show Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. in the Linda W. Chapin Theatre at the Orange County Convention Center.
Harman, the lefthander from Savannah, Georgia, etched his name in major championship history and on the hallowed Claret Jug with rounds of 67-65-69-70 to finish at 13-under-par 271 at Royal Liverpool last July. The Titleist Brand Ambassador will share details of his journey to become “Champion Golfer of the Year” with Nantz and PGA Show attendees, as Acushnet Company celebrates the game’s health, momentum and the partnerships with PGA Professionals that enrich the game and drive participation during the 30-minute presentation.
A three-time winner on the PGA TOUR, the 38-year-old Harman displayed an unbeatable combination of power, precision and poise while cementing his six-shot triumph in the 2023 Open Championship.
“I have tremendous confidence in the equipment I play; my relationship with Titleist gives me the tools I need to succeed each and every week on Tour and wherever I play,” observes Harman, who also finished second in the 2017 U.S. Open. “Over the years, I’ve grown to trust all of the professionals and fitters at Titleist, who are always on hand to help me with any equipment needs I might have. Whatever I need, whenever I need it, Titleist is there.”
The Acushnet-Titleist Opening Presentation in the Chapin Theatre is open to all PGA of America Golf Professionals and industry professionals registered for the 2024 PGA Show.
