Renowned instructor David Leadbetter, the 2017 PGA of America Teacher & Coach of the Year and a member of the PGA of America Hall of Fame, will share his coaching secrets during a special “Leadbetter Coaching” presentation Friday at 9 a.m. on the PGA of America Industry Stage presented by CapTech.
Leadbetter — who has coached prominent tour professionals such as Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Nick Price, Charles Howell III, Michelle Wie, Lydia Ko and Byeong Hun An to 26 major championship titles and more than 150 individual worldwide tournament victories — is credited with rebuilding the swing of Nick Faldo, who went on to win six majors.
Leadbetter, who has authored eight books that have sold more than two million copies and produced countless instructional videos and training aids, will be joined on the PGA of America Industry Stage by Santiago Mari, product engineer and business development expert; and Anthony Netto, founder of the “Stand Up and Play Foundation” and inventor of the Paragolfer-Vertacat for the one-hour presentation Friday.
