1. The 20th PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day is here, and you’re next on the tee! Join the fun at Orange County National Golf Center for a full day of product testing and education, including workshops on clubfitting, coaching and range operation. Watch for celebrity sightings from the likes of LPGA star Lexi Thompson, long drive champ Kyle Berkshire, PGA Tour winner Brad Faxon and award-winning teacher Kevin Weeks. The festivities start at 9 a.m. for PGA Professionals, and other registered golf industry professionals are welcome beginning at noon. There is limited parking on site, so we recommend taking the free shuttles to and from the Orange County Convention Center.
2. PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day is a celebration of golf, and the party really gets started at 4 p.m., when PGA Professional Appreciation Happy Hour kicks off on the Orange County National Golf Center range. Sponsored by Pukka Headwear and World Long Drive, there will be music, refreshments and a fun way to toast the beginning of PGA Show Week. We’ll see you there!
3. If you’re looking to get a head start on education opportunities this week, you can live your learning starting Tuesday. In addition to multiple education sessions at Demo & Fitting Day, there are a number of education seminars taking place at the Orange County Convention Center as well. Check out the full schedule at PGAShow.com.
4. All registered PGA Show attendees are invited to Tuesday evening’s AGM Product Preview & Reception, set for 5-7 p.m. in the A/B Lobby on Level 1 of the Orange County Convention Center. Some of the game’s newest brands join golf’s biggest names for an exclusive tabletop product preview and industry networking event.
5. OK, that’s a lot of celebrating, so don’t forget to rest up for tomorrow’s official opening of the 2023 PGA Show! Be sure to make it to the Central Lobby of the OCCC by 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday to see the PGA Show opening with PGA President John Lindert and a performance by Sam Harrop, and enjoy a Ryder Cup photo opportunity as we welcome the golf industry back to the PGA Show!
