Five Things to Know: Tuesday

  1. DEMO DAYGet ready to take your swings and see new things, because the 21st PGA Show Demo Day is here! There’s a full day of product testing, education and fun on tap at Orange County National Golf Center, with a new layout for companies on the massive driving range featuring multiple practice greens and short game areas. There will also be a food court with local food trucks, and Latin Grammy winner Spencer Ludwig will keep the mood poppin’ with live music and DJ tunes. The festivities start at 9 a.m. for PGA and LPGA Professionals, and other registered golf industry professionals are welcome beginning at noon. There is very limited parking on site, so we recommend taking the convenient free shuttles to and from the Orange County Convention Center.
  1. EDUCATION AT OCN – PGA Show Demo Day is about more than just testing new products – there’s also plenty to be learned from a number of industry experts on a variety of topics. For example, the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) will be featuring enhanced programming throughout the day, with GRAA award-winners available to share best practices on range operations at the association’s expansive area at Orange County National. The PGA Show Demo Day stage will also provide attendees with access to complimentary programming on club fitting, range operations and golf business topics and coaching workshops, part of the PGA Show Education Conference, will be taking place right on the range at Tee #3.
  1. SPECIAL APPEARANCES & DEMONSTRATIONSKeep your eyes open at PGA Show Demo Day for some familiar faces and big names from the world of golf. Celebrities scheduled to appear include short game legend Brad Faxon for Titleist, along with broadcaster Blair O’Neal and long drive champ Kyle Berkshire for Cobra Puma Golf, and you never know who else might stop by to check out all the action!
  1. EDUCATION AT OCCC THIS AFTERNOONTuesday is also a great day to get a head start on the many education opportunities available during PGA Show Week at the Orange County Convention Center. Sessions start at 1:30 p.m. and range from mentoring and making a difference in the life of your employees and golfers to cultivating more followers on social media and becoming a dynamic team leader. Check out the full schedule at PGAShow.com under the Education & Experiences tab.
