The PGA Show’s New Product Zone saw a steady stream of traffic the first two days of the Show, as PGA of America Professionals and buyers visited this popular destination to get a look at the latest in equipment, apparel, products and accessories.
“I love taking a peak at some of the new products; it’s a great way to finish the Show for the day on a high note,” said Kaitlyn Langford, merchandiser at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, Indiana. Langford was impressed with a McElroy Customs wooden starter’s box on display that holds everything from tees, to pin sheets, extra scorecards, pencils and even bourbon.
“This is our first show exhibiting and we did the full dive in,” says Tim Martin, McElroy Customs Business Strategy & Growth Advisor. “We got a 10-by-10 booth and decided to make the extra investment in the New Product Zone, which worked out really well.”
Other products included everything from a donut shaped putter from Pureline Putting, to boot-shaped putter covers from PutterUp, insulated drinkware from Built to Roam, Created and MiiR Custom, readers and sunglasses from Peepers and a “big swing driver” with oversize foam balls and large tees for kids from Little Links Golf. There were also a number of cigar-themed products, including a storage case from Tubr, revolving stogie holder from Vegas Golf and metal golf car award with an attached cigar holder from StogeeSleeve.
“I’m in the north and don’t always get to see all the new stuff, so this is great for me,” said Michael Johnson, PGA of America Head Professional at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville, Indiana. “I’m always looking for good tee gifts, and what I like is I can take their information and follow up after.”
