Numerous stages enhance PGA Show experience for attendees

A super busy PGA Show floor on Wednesday was highlighted by hundreds of exhibitors and multiple stages offering dozens of educational presentations and panel discussions.

Golf industry and business professionals shared their expertise on a variety of issues that impact golf at the PGA of America Industry Stage presented by CapTech; The Clubhouse Stage located in the new Clubhouse Pavilion; the Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage presented by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and the Golf Fitness Association of America (GFAA); the Career Zone Stage on the PGA Show floor; and the Inventor’s Spotlight area, which showcases new golf and golf lifestyle-related products developed by independent inventors.

“The stages positioned around the Show floor are a great idea,” said former Tanglewood Golf Club Head Professional Mark Stevenson, PGA, from Hartland, Michigan. “It’s a great way to learn about the most important trends in the golf industry from experts.”

The PGA of America Industry Stage presented by CapTech — centrally located within the PGA Hub near the main entrance to the PGA Show floor — will offer 10 presentations on Thursday, including “2024 Golf Business Trends” by the National Golf Foundation’s David Lorentz at 10:30 a.m.; “Coaching for Success” with Will Robins, PGA, and an expert panel at 11 a.m.; and “PGA HOPE Programs” with PGA of America Golf Professionals Kennie Sims and Judy Alvarez, and PGA HOPE Ambassador Chris Nowak at 1 p.m.

The Clubhouse Stage features “Keeping Your 50-Plus Membership Active and Engaged” by TPI’s Dave Phillips at 12:30 p.m. and “Bringing the Game Indoors” by 2Hemispheres’ Dan Hones at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The Clubhouse pavilion also features two pickleball courts, one for open product testing and one reserved for exhibitor demonstrations and special events.

More than a dozen presentations will be delivered at the Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage on Thursday, including sessions from Dr. David Tiberio, Brian Dillman and Mike Wilson at 9:15 a.m., noon and 3 p.m., respectively. Everything from joint motions to whole body EMS and strength development for juniors will be covered.

Inventors Spotlight Stage programming for Thursday is highlighted by the “Inventor Education Program” by Russ Barnes at 10 a.m.; “Inventor Rescue” by Chris Landano at noon; and the “United Inventors Association Awards” at 2:15 p.m.
