PGA Buying Summit — Frisco set for late July

After a highly successful debut at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and PGA Frisco in 2023, PGA Buying Summit — Frisco returns to the Texas home of the PGA of America for the 2024 Summit on July 29-31.

PGA of America Golf Professionals and golf buyers will source products and innovations from more than 100 leading golf brands showcasing the latest trends in apparel, accessory and golf lifestyle products in the Omni PGA Frisco Resort ballrooms during the three-day Summit.

On the education side, the 2024 Summit will feature national level education sessions in Golf Operations, Teaching & Coaching and Executive Management tracks for attending PGA of America Professionals and golf buyers. Each session will be held on Aug. 5 at the state-of-the-art PGA Professional Development Center at PGA Frisco, the Home of the PGA of America.

The new PGA Professional Development Center features hybrid indoor/outdoor hitting bays, simulator bays, an indoor short-game area, a putting lab, modern classrooms, and a full-size driving range. A total of 8 PGA of America PDR credits can be earned through participation in each education session as well as the event. Education enrollment, event registration and housing reservations will be available first-come, first-served next week at PGABuyingSummit.com.

The positive industry response to the event’s new dates and location resulted in a quick sell-out of the exhibit ballrooms at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort for the 2023 Summit, with similar interest expected for the 2024 PGA Buying Summit.

Each evening at the PGA Buying Summit will offer PGA Professionals, buyers and vendors a chance to unwind and stay connected. There will be a welcome reception and fashion show at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort on Monday, and Demo Night product testing at the Monument Realty PGA District on Tuesday. Both nights also will feature networking events and fun golf competitions within the PGA District, which features The Dance Floor, a lighted 2-acre putting course; The Swing, a 10-hole, lighted par-3 short course; the PGA Coaching Center, offering coaching, club fitting and fitness elements to golfers from PGA Professionals; restaurants, children’s play areas, and shopping options for the public to enjoy, such as the PGA Shop, Ice House, Gimme Toys, Blue Lacy Mercantile, Vineyard Vines, Margaret’s Cones & Cups and Lounge by Topgolf.
