
Tuesday’s PGA Show Dem Day at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida, will be enhanced by a series of coaching workshops, plus a focus on health & wellness.
PGA of America Coaching Workshops return to the Tee No. 3 outdoor classroom at the Orange County National range as part of the PGA Show Education program (paid sessions), with an all-star lineup of PGA Master Professionals sharing their expertise. PGA of America Golf Professionals can earn up to five PDR credits for workshop participation and event attendance.
The PGA workshops begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tee No. 3 with Eric Hogge, PGA, presenting “Practical Ways to Gather Digital Information.” At 10:45 a.m., PGA Master Professional Joe Plecker presents “A Live Lesson Using Trackman.”
PGA Master Professional Eric Alpenfels leads off the afternoon workshops at Demo Day on Tuesday at noon with “Strategies to Effectively Resolve Student Swing Issues.” PGA Master Professional Joe Hallett, the 2024 PGA of America Teacher & Coach of the Year, will be on hand from 1:15-2:15 p.m. with his “Distance Wedges: The Unsung Heroes That Improve Everyone’s Game” presentation.
At Tee No. 2, the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) will conduct two complimentary sessions — Scott Hassee, PGA, from 10-10:30 a.m. on “Free Instruction, Paid Results: How Strategic Giving Drives Revenues and Retention” and Monique Thoresz, PGA, on “Boosting Your Career.”

The Golf Fitness Association of America (GFAA) will present complimentary health and wellness sessions to enhance and extend the golfer’s overall well-being and performance at the Health & Wellness Center Outdoor Stage, Tee No. 7, at the PGA Show Demo Day.
Presenters for complimentary sessions include Lauren McMillen at 10 a.m. on “Yoga & Golf Performance,” Nicole Hage at 10:45 a.m. on “Golf Rotational Power and Mobility” and Jason Meisch, Patrick McGuire, Lisa Deel and McAulay Renfro on “Peak Process.”
Between 1-1:45 p.m., a special LPGA panel — consisting of Kelly Stenzel, Karen Palacios-Jansen, Christie Quinn, Joanne Foreman, Kelley Brooke and Kuniko Tasahara Tischler — will address “The LPGA Way: Building Better Lessons, Stronger Relationships and Happier Golfers.”
The Teaching & Coaching Center will present educational programming from PGA Of America Golf Professionals on coaching and golf performance, plus clubfitting. On Tee No. 7 between 1-2:45 p.m., Michael O’Donnell and Cathy Matthews-Kane will speak about “The Value of Coaching,” first from a coach and then from an industry standpoint.
