PGA Town Hall meeting for PGA of America Members to feature officers, Secretary candidates

All PGA of America Members are invited to attend a PGA Town Hall Meeting Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the PGA Member Business Center (fourth floor, Valencia Room) at the Orange County Convention Center.

The annual PGA Town Hall at the PGA Show will feature PGA of America Officers — President John Lindert, Vice President Don Rea and Secretary Nathan Charnes — and PGA Chief Executive Officer Seth Waugh providing details about the PGA of America’s new “We Love Golf” and other PGA programs, while answering questions from PGA of America Members on a variety of issues.

PGA of America Golf Professionals will also hear brief presentations from the four candidates for PGA of America Secretary – Barry Howard, PGA General Manager at Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas; Derek Gutierrez, PGA General Manager at Santa Ana Pueblo Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico; Jared Barnes, PGA Head Professional at Cedar Ridge Golf Course in Cedar City, Utah; and Eric Eshleman, PGA Director of Golf at Country Club of Birmingham in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

The four candidates for national PGA Secretary will share their long-term vision for the PGA of America and campaign throughout 2024, with final elections taking place at the 2024 PGA Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in November.
